Batasiolo produces all wines more celebrated in the Piedmont region. Barolo chinato, spread to Piedmont by the end of the nineteenth century, is produced with the wise addition to Barolo wine alcohol base of an infusion of bark china calissaia and other spices and herbs that make up the secret recipe of each producer.

Colour: garnet red with brick-coloured reflections.
Nose: olfactory Expression of rare power with clear scents of spices and herbs including cinnamon and cloves, rhubarb and gentian, star anise and china calissaia. Complete the range of fragrances dried fruits, cocoa, jams and aromas of caramel.
Palate: the palate is Ethereal, full, velvety, sweet but not cloying, balanced and very personal. Typically bitter mouth and very personal final.
Serving temperature: 6° -8° C
Serving suggestions: Perfect sipping wine and dessert.
Considered since the 19th century the perfect digestive, deliciously rich chocolate and biscuits accompanied by candied fruit, as well as nuts generally, walnuts, almonds and hazelnuts for a later meal. < br />In winter, with hot water and lemon peel, is transformed into a beautiful punch.
